Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a degenerative disorder of the central nervous system that impacts an individual’s motor skills, speech, and cognitive function. Often characterized by the presence of tremors, PD may present a wide range of challenges including:

LSVT BIG™ improves the amplitude or “bigness” of limb and body movement to help provide a stronger, more efficient gait, better balance and flexibility – and applies these skills to daily activities. From getting up from the sofa to buttoning a shirt, our LSVT BIG™ trained clinicians can help you maintain your independence.
SPEAK OUT!® focuses on helping people with Parkinson’s improve their speech and voice.
Patients of each program will also be given daily exercises to practice and a home exercise program to further successes gained during in-center care.
